Blog is the new Weblog

Over at Crooked Timber there’s a posting showing a graph of the use of the terms “weblog” and “blog” in various major newspapers over the past few years. It seems that 2003 was the first year that “blog” became more used in articles than “weblog”. I guess blogs are becoming more and more mainstream…

I’m beginning to like Crooked Timber, what with this and the “online survey” it ran a week or so back.
